7 aThe fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge;
fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Proverbs 1:22

22“How long, O bsimple ones, will you love being simple?
How long will cscoffers delight in their scoffing
and fools dhate knowledge?

Proverbs 1:29

29Because they ehated knowledge
and fdid not choose the fear of the Lord,

John 3:19-20

19 gAnd this is the judgment: hthe light has come into the world, and ipeople loved the darkness rather than the light because jtheir works were evil. 20 kFor everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, llest his works should be exposed.

John 8:45-47
